The Batavia Coast Conference Centre is the largest all-inclusive conference centre between Perth and Broome. Our all-inclusive events come with no hidden extras. We take care of full catering, bar service, set up and pack down, cleaning, furniture, all crockery and cutlery, amazing staff and accommodation, so you can relax and enjoy the moment. How do I request a quote?

What are your hire fees?

Our venue hire fees vary depending on room selection, and duration as well as catering and AV requirements. For a customised quote, contact our team with your preferred date, layout and expected attendee numbers.

What is your total capacity?

Located on the ground floor of the Gerald Apartment hotel, the Batavia Coast Conference Centre has four dedicated conference rooms, along with two bars. Total venue capacity depends on room setup and configuration, our largest room will host up to 300 people in Theatre seating.

What are your payment and cancellation policies?

For all events, a deposit is required to secure the space, and full payment is required 14 days prior to your event. Notice of cancellation must be made in writing, cancellation terms vary depending on the size and requirements of the event. Your applicable cancellation policy will be included in your event proposal or agreement.

Do you offer catering?

Absolutely! We offer a variety catering options from working conference catering to canapés, breakfasts, 3 course dinners and even custom wedding menus. We can accommodate common dietary requirements, noting additional costs may apply if we are not given adequate notice.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. We can cater for most dietary requirements, including halal, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy-related requests. Please provide details before the event as we can not accommodate on the day.

Do you have a liquor license?

Yes, we are a fully licensed venue. We have three spaces featuring a built in bar, but we can provide alcoholic beverages in all of our rooms and will also provide a pop up bar for an additional fee.

Can you organise meals or a function after the conference?

Yes. We're happy to discuss post-conference drinks, dinners and private functions as part of your event arrangements. We offer a range of options, including The Old Man & the Sea, Geraldton's only rooftop bar, perfect for networking, sundowners, barbecues or post-conference drinks; Bob's Boutique Bar, an intimate space designed for networking and cocktail style events; and The Studio, designed especially for private dinners with an edge. The possibilities are endless.

Do you have on-site parking?

We have a free, secure carpark located on level 1 of the building. We cannot guarantee space as it is subject to availability but there are alternative parking options located within a short walking distance.

Can you provide audiovisual equipment and technical support?

Accepted Answer

Yes. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue and is included in the venue hire fee. Our in-house audiovisual equipment includes data projectors, LCD screens, stage and microphones.As a regional venue, we can also facilitate video conferencing and hybrid events, allowing remote speakers and delegates to participate from anywhere. Technical support can be arranged to assist with setup, testing and troubleshooting throughout your event.For more complex requirements, we work closely with trusted suppliers to source the most suitable equipment, technical support and setup.

Our conference facilities are in the same building as the Gerald Apartment Hotel, Geraldton’s only luxury accommodation. Two time winner of the best regional accommodation in WA, the Gerald is perfect for your event accommodation needs. When booking an event, we can provide a code which will provide a discount on accommodation for you and your guests at the hotel.For larger events requiring additional rooms, our team can also coordinate accommodation blocks with other hotels across Geraldton, providing a convenient central point of contact for your event accommodation requirements.

Yes. Our experienced team do everything for you; room setup, catering, accommodation, audiovisual requirements and event-day arrangements.

Accessibility is available across most of our spaces, with access from both our main entrance and carpark. The Gerald Apartment Hotel also offers accessible rooms for accommodation.
